How To Register

Packet Pick-Up

To avoid delays, you are encouraged to pick up your bib and t-shirt early at the event packet pick-up on Friday April 11th between 3:00pm-7:00pm at the Registration Zone located at the Solano County Event Center, 601 Texas Street, Downtown Fairfield.  If you are unable to attend the early packet pick-up you may do so at the event day Registration Zone located at the Solano County Event Center on race morning between 6:00am-7:20am. Your timing-chip will be affixed to your bib that you pick up at registration. Please remember to affix to your front torso area prior to race start.

The 2014 Fairfield-Suisun Running Festival Courses: Run for Good 5K, +10K, and Half Marathon are Flat and fast road courses.” Change second paragraph, second sentences to “Water will be provided on the 5K course and water, electrolyte sports drink and Jelly Belly Sport Beans will be provided on the +10K and Half Marathon courses

Aid Stations will be provided at approximately every 2 miles and at the finish line on all courses. Water will be provided on the 5K course and water, electrolyte sports drink and Jelly Belly Sport Beans will be provided on the +10K course.

Strollers & pets will be allowed on the Run For Good 5K course but must begin at the back (end) of the main field for the safety of all participants and must respect the safety of surrounding participants.

Timing:

The 2014 5K, +10K, and Half Marathon will be timed using disposable RFID chip technology for accuracy and quick results. Timing chips will be adhered directly to the back of your race bib. You will need to secure the bib to your front torso area using safety pins. Timing mats will capture you as you cross the start line and again as you cross the finish line.

All Entries Include:

Entries for the Run For Good 5K, +10K and Half Marathon will receive an event t-shirt, post-race refreshments, free post-race EXPO with music, sponsors, fitness vendors, and eligibility for awards and raffles. *Participants must register by midnight April 1st to be guaranteed a t-shirt.

Directions and Parking:

FRF ParkingRaces begin at 675 Texas Street in Fairfield CA. From San Francisco, take I-80 east, exit Travis Blvd. Click here for a map of the available parking in the downtown area.

Awards and Age Divisions:

Age group medals for top three in each age group and overall winners. Age divisions: male/female <10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 64-69, 70+.

Race Results and Timing:

Race results will be posted on-site as well as on this website by 5:00 p.m. event day. All %k run/walk, +10 run, and Half Marathon participants wearing their events bibs will be timed.

Weather:

The races will take place rain or shine.
